As founding partner and co-chief investment officer, Jon sets the vision and spearheads the overall business management of Yarger Wealth Strategies. His career spans over three decades of financial services experience, and he offers expertise in areas that many high-net-worth clients face including risk management, portfolio creation and monitoring, asset preservation, executive compensation, retirement and estate planning.

At Yarger Wealth Strategies, Jon has created a practice unlike others. He is dedicated to building deep relationships with a select group of clients. To understanding each client’s unique goals and financial aspirations. To delivering the highest level of planning, guidance, and direction. Jon leverages his experience along with personal attention and strategic financial planning to help our clients achieve financial prosperity.

Earlier in his career, Jon was a Wealth Advisor and Director of Investments at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network. He holds the professional designations of CLU and ChFC and Series 6, 63, 65, 7, 9 and 10 securities licenses. He received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Hofstra University in New York.

Jon understands the value of giving back to the community through ongoing support of a number of charities in the area. He is especially focused on providing support for the James Cancer Center, in loving memory of his father. 

Jon has enjoyed coaching youth league baseball and basketball for more seasons than he can count. He served as a founding trustee for the New Albany parks district where over the course of a decade he led a campaign to purchase and develop over 200 acres of land into three parks for youth sports and community use. 

Jon lives in New Albany with his wife, Chea, and their three children, Matt, Chris, and Ellie. He enjoys spending time with his family at the beach.
